LEVEL 2 AWARD- Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (Top up)

All Door Supervisor License holders are required to complete this training before they apply for renewal of Door Supervisor License. License cannot be renewed if this course has not completed/pass.

Develop technical knowledge underpinning the role, duties and responsibilities of a CCTV Operative. This covers areas such CCTV codes of practice, operational procedures and guidelines, relevant legislation, emergency procedures and the importance of effective communication with third parties

Develop their practical skills and their abilities in the functional aspects of the role, including, locating and tracking, lost contact drills and capturing images in the context of the CCTV

Achieve a nationally-recognised Level 2 qualification

Achieve a licence to practise

Essential qualification for those working or seeking work as a CCTV Operator in the private security industry. The qualification is a pre requisite under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act (2001) for individuals working as CCTV Operators in the private security industry to obtain a licence from the Security Industry Authority.

The Mandatory Care Training

Every care service has the legal responsibility to provide staff with a level of Health and Safety awareness training, such as 'Fire Safety'. 'Moving and handling', Emergency First Aid at Work training.
This mandatory care training course is designed to increase your care worker understanding of Personal care in health and social care. This course will cover good practice in supporting an individual in various aspects of their personal care and hygiene in a Person Centred Care.

Who is this qualification for?

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to become emergency first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training emergency first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

Topics covered:

These include the role and responsibilities of a first aider, being able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, being able to manage a casualty with external bleeding and being able to manage a casualty with a minor injury.

Assessment method:

This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and written/oral questioning.
